I am alone, temporarily of course. In the blink of an eye, my six children have grown and become adults. Two of my sons and my two daughters are married. My other two sons are currently single. My married children had given me the best gift of a lifetime – grandchildren!

I am a grandmother to four of the most amazing grandchildren ever! There are three granddaughters: Ariana, 3 3/4, Nora, 3 1/2, and Hannah, 1 1/2, and one grandson, Michael 2 3/4. My youngest daughter and son-in-law are expecting their first baby in November. Eliana joined us on November 18. Life is good and exciting!

When I had my children, I didn’t think I could possibly love anyone more. I was so wrong! These grandchildren have stolen my heart, and given me a new purpose in life! I am their Mom Mom and that is opening up a world of possibilities and fun for me.

I am thrilled when they come to visit and watching them grow before my eyes. They each have distinct personalities and remind me of an age (not so long ago) when my children were growing up.

Yes, things are so different today, but children are children, unpredictable, spontaneous, full of energy, precious. I am looking forward to chronicling some of their adventures in this blog and hope you will join me.
